Exterior Basement Waterproofing
Exterior waterproofing (or sometimes known as external waterproofing) repairs your leaky basement from the outside of your home by exposing the foundation walls and applying the necessary waterproofing material to create a foundation waterproofing system that will redirect and disperse water away from your foundation walls and away from your home. This is one of the best waterproofing solutions used to fix basement leaks and the most common way waterproofing contractors do a basement foundation repair. Prices vary but typically home projects with full depth basements are anywhere from $120-$180 per linear foot. Projects can range anywhere from $50-$300 per linear foot depending on ease of access, utilities, if the project has to be hand dug and a variety of other factors. Yard/Tile Drain installation
Yard drains also known as a form of tile or french drains are very effective at controlling ground water AND surface water in your yard or around you home and moving water safely away before it has a chance to wreack havoc. Yard drains are generall dug in a grid pattern, saturated problem areas within your yard or as a curtain around your home. This is one of the best solutions to protect your home from surface rain water and keep the subsurface of your yard dry and marsh free. It is also more affordable than basement waterproofing and will add some benifical protection. Typically prices are $60-$80 per linear foot. Projects can range from $40-$120 per linear foot depending on severity of issue, length of excavation needed, hand digging or limited/ease of access and other factors.
Interior Waterproofing
Interior waterproofing (or sometimes known as internal waterproofing) repairs your basement leaks from the inside of your home and is the best solution for a damp or wet basement. When your basement becomes damp and moist, it is best to have an interior waterproofing done in your basement to prevent the growth of mold and mildew, which will create harmful smells and bacteria that affect your health. This is also one of the waterproofing solutions that will help take care of hydrostatic pressure that builds up and causes a wet basement because the drain tile is below the basement floor. If External or Exterior waterproofing can not be performed this is the next best option. Typical prices are $70-$80 per linear foot. Projects prices can range from $50-$110 per linear foot depending on depth and width needed, overall water issue, type of sump pump that will need t be used or if multiple are needed etc.
Underground Downspouts
Underground downspouts are one of the best ways to get water away from your home without dumping it on the surface causing erosion issues and potentially harming your foundation like conventional downspouts. We incorporate patented connections, leaf traps, shingle-grit traps, and pop up emitters to ensure you have the very best underground downspout system that will last a lifetime with minor yearly clean-outs. We only use industrial strength baughman tile high octane blue corragated pipe for all our downspouts and drains. These pipes are rated for 200 YEARS. These downspouts are usually installed with a full drain system tied in on the property, such a french/yard drain combination. However they can be installed on their own. A typical underground downspout can be anywhere from $700-$1500 per downspout. Prices vary from $500-$3000 for complex cases. Discount when you install multiple.
Channel Drain Installation
Channel drains are not only effective at removing and moving surface water, they come in a variety of different types and style. Wheather functionality or style is your main concern we got you covered. Channel drains are generally installed along patios, driveways, sports complexs, in resturants and garages among other places. They’re time tested to be effective at water management and low maintence due to their “U” shape, that means less cleaning for you. Prices vary HEAVILY when it comes to channel drain installation, higher prices for custom and “aesthetic” drains and cheaper for more generic “cookie-cutter” drains. Typical prices are $40-$60 per linear foot however prices can range from $40-$225 depending on the style and type of channel drain chosen.
Grading & Landscaping Services
Sometimes all you need to fix some water issues is a little bit of landscaping and grading. By-far the cheapest and most cost effective solution when the landscape and home improvements allow it. This solution is best used when their is ease of access for lamdscaping equipment such as skid steers or small excavators for residential use. This solution also only works when the yard isn’t overly developed with gardens, gazebos, or other exterior improvements. Prices vary dramatically for this service. Grading prices typically range from $500-$4000 for the lot. Depending if topsoil has to be brought in and SQ FT being covered. Swale’s are another effetive solution generally costing between $400-$2000 depending on length and if drainage stone is needed.
